rusting

hey all of you whom I dont know, can only imagine, and possibly dont know me either but are picking up some of my current ideas.
Its all about staying focussed, staying in the moment and going with the flow. Surfing, skiing, climbing, come to mind. If you lose your balance, your'e back to square one.

Ive been to London and met up with an old friend from Uni. We talked about a collaboration and Im excited as it will be the first. Its about text, sound and simultaneity.

Ive got my mind going again on the house. the joists in the back room have been renewed and the flooring put back. The sash windows will be done in July and the kitchen hopefully will start in September. By then I hope to have another performance under way. Ive asked a couple of people if they are interested and Im waiting for them to get back to me.

My son is here and my daughter's dog Oscar. We just came back from the beach. Were all knackered so speak soon.

The first performance was a sell out. We couldnt keep the people out. They came in their droves and we ran out of sandwiches. I had to hurridly put some more spam and cheese between slices of morrisons white bread..........and in the end it worked out OK.

Nonsense..........
.a selected audience were invited. They sipped delicious china tea, (smoky or jasmine) in the garden and waited for their turn to visit the geisha in the cupboard.

It was quite a different experience from the usual 'lets go get some free wine pv'. It was refreshing, charming and a very good experience for the first 25 stratford grove performance.

Really looking forward to tomorrow's performance 'Geisha in the cupboard', the first at the house.
Hopefully about twenty people will turn up, will be served tea in the garden and go up, one by one, to the cupboard on the landing.

This will maybe be the first of performances to be done here.

I so love the energy of gray and mags. They make me feel young and alive again. Gray makes me laugh like nobody. And its wonderful that mags laughs along as if she finds everything playful as well.

Im very stressed today. the rain is getting to me and I cant get the dog out as he hates the rain. I realize that I am putting the dog before me, my life is revolving round the dog. Mind you, he does get into my bed and cuddles up to me at night.

The performance on Monday, though, is keeping me going. Its pretty much ready, bar the props. Im really looking forward to it.

I think I need to find a new name for the venue. Maybe something like Stitt's in Wales, like 'the place'. What do you think?

Someone thought of 'back to front' as you can approach the house from either front or back. What about 'unstable ground' which i read in a review of a performance recently. It probably is unstable ground here, as on the searches it came up as being on top of a mine.
